Salary
Residency appointments begin in July and are
renewed annually for up to 36 consecutive months. Residents are paid
according to an advancing scale. Current annual salary information

Benefits and Privileges
As UCLA employees, UCLA Ophthalmology Residents enjoy the following benefits
and privileges:
Residents are expected to provide their own
transportation between medical centers and must participate in a payroll deduction
for parking privileges at the Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Housing
Residents do not receive an allowance for housing. Information and assistance
regarding housing in the Los Angeles area may be obtained from the UCLA
Community Housing Office. The Housing Office requires confirmation of acceptance
as a UCLA intern or resident before providing information.
