Grand Rounds consists of a series of patient case presentations by residents
and fellows followed by faculty discussion. Scheduled on Wednesday afternoons
from 4:40 pm to 6:15 pm during the academic year, Grand Rounds are held
in the Research to Prevent Blindness Auditorium of the Jules Stein Eye
Institute. Grand Rounds are part of the Wednesday afternoon ophthalmology
instruction program. They are preceded by the Basic and Clinical Science
Course and Ophthalmology Resident Clinical Quiz, and followed by a subspecialty
lecture.
Ophthalmologists and optometrists are
welcome to attend the Jules Stein Eye Institute Weekly Grand Rounds
Conference. No reservation is necessary to attend. To receive credit you must complete
and return the appropriate address verification form (available below or
when you attend a conference), and you must sign-in at every conference you attend.
Credit for attendance will be issued in June at the end of
the academic year. If you are interested in specific information
about Grand Rounds, flyers are available every Friday and Monday in
JSEI Room 3-223 or you may receive them via fax and/or
e-mail.
